Well-established State Farm Insurance Agency located in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a dynamic self-starter with insurance sales experience and strong work ethic to join our team. Our agency has a proven track record with over fifty years of experience and loyal clientele that continues to renew with us every year due to our award winning customer service and professional business approach.

We are seeking Insurance Sales and Service Associates that can speak both English and Vietnamese and have a solid understanding of personal and commercial insurance. **We are also looking for Spanish speaking sales associates, but immediately need a sales associate that can speak Vietnamese. The right candidates will be self-motivated and excited to help customers find the right insurance products that meet their needs. We value our customers' peace of mind over profits, and act as trusted advisers for all their insurance needs.

Responsibilities:

• To field questions from our customers regrading product needs, coverage, eligibility and provide billing clarification in a friendly, respectful, and engaging manner.
• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs and market appropriate State Farm products and services.
• Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
• Assist clients with existing policies to discover new benefits, discounts and additional programs.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to make presentations to potential and existing customers.
• Track premium payments and renewals. Follow up with clients to make sure policies do not lapse.

Requirements include:

• Discuss the features and benefits of available insurance plans with clients in both English and Vietnamese efficiently and effectively.
• At least two years experience with a customer service background.
• Professional phone etiquette and solid computer skills.
• Have an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude. People-oriented.
• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
• Excited and willing to engage with customers in sales and product-based needs.
• Maintain knowledge of new products and programs.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, and on-time.
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening
• Property & Casualty License (for Sales Associates)
• Life & Health License (or at least willing to obtain)
• Able to start immediately
